Béjar will have a technology park which fosters employment

The University of Salamanca and Béjar’s City Council will sign an agreement to allow the settling of businesses.

The University of Salamanca, together with Béjar’s City Council will generate employment by kick-starting a tech park in which newly created businesses will settle. This initiative will be driven by both entities and will be initiated with the signing of an agreement in this month of June. Béjar’s Council will hand over local facilities, providing space for tech companies or freelancers looking for their work opportunity. New technologies allow for the creation of companies which require little space and machinery, a matter that can addressed with the help of Béjar’s Community College.

Béjar’s tech park will be an extension of the Villamayor Campus, this will help establish very interesting synergies.
