The University promotes open knowledge

The institutional repository currently has about 115,000 records of institutional, and  scientific documents and teaching materials, among others.

The Document Repository Management System of the University of Salamanca (GREDOS) has offered, since its creation in 2007, online consultation of digital documents with historical, scientific, didactic and institutional contents.

In recent years, the Library Service of USAL has updated the technology used and the connections with resources, according to the report published by Tribuna University. In addition, the software version has been updated and migration to new servers with cloud technology in the cloud has taken place. The teaching and research staff (PDI) will be able to directly deposit their work in GREDOS, and therefore their diffusion will be greater.

Currently there are about 115,000 records among scientific articles, doctoral theses, historical documents digitalized in the Historical Library or institutional documents, as indicated in the report.
