The capital venture fund ‘K Fund’ backs the algorithm developed by this company to maximize hotel profits, based on competitiveness and customer segmentation.
The “Beonprice” company, located in the Science Park (Parque Científico) of the University of Salamanca (Universidad de Salamanca), closed the current investment round with 1.4 million euros from the capital venture fund “K Fund”. The investor fund thus has confidence in this technological platform and its innovative algorithm, developed to maximize the profit of hotels, based on their competitive positioning, customer segmentation and price flexibility in the market.
“Beonprice” applies “Big Data” techniques to the hotel sector, which allows them to know the availability of rooms, demand, prices of competitors, disparities and many other fundamental elements to establish the most advantageous price in hotel accommodations. As for the investment, it has been led by “K Fund”, a fund that invests in the early stages of technology companies with high growth potential, with an annual budget item dedicated to encouraging the continuous learning of the founding teams of the investees and the fund investors.
