The Viriato Campus presents a program that fosters Entrepreneurship

 The program will be developed with the initiative of the Upper Polytechnic School of Zamora.

The entrepreneurial spirit is the driving force of the economy of innovation, competitiveness and growth. For this reason, it is necessary to develop tools and policies which generate entrepreneurial culture and the University has to assume its responsibility in this respect.

The commitment to teaching led us to presenting Viriato Campus, an initiative of the Upper Polytechnic School of Zamora, a program that fosters the entrepreneurial spirit; which makes its promotion and development possible, specific training for initiating an activity, fostering innovation, consider the option of self-employment as an option and contribute to the generation of responsible and sustainable entrepreneurial culture. The Viriato Campus is the adequate environment for starting this initiative of fostering entrepreneurial activity.

At the presentation of this initiative, I was accompanied by José Luis Pérez Iglesias, Deputy Director of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Teaching in the Upper Polytechnic School of Zamora. Person in charge of the Entrepreneurship Plan from the EPS of Zamora; José Adriano Gomes Pires, Pro-President of the Polytechnic School of Bragança; José Carlos Sánchez García, Director of the Entrepreneurs’ Chair of the University of Salamanca; Francisco Javier Manteca Benéitez, Dean of the School of Technical and Civil Engineering and Public Works, Western Part of Castile Leon; Jesús Vaquerizo Aragón, Technician in the Agency for Business Development and Innovation and Íñigo Martín Sánchez,Technician in USAL Emprende (Undertake, SIPPE, University of Salamanca).
