Salamanca University Press present at the Turin International Book Fair

It was the 30th edition of this fair, considered the most important in Italy.

Salamanca University Press (Ediciones Universidad de Salamanca), in collaboration with the recently inaugurated Spanish Language School of the University of Salamanca in Turin – ELE USAL TORINO- was present with a stand of 8 m2 in the 30th Salone Internazionale del Libro di Torino, the most important book fair in Italy, which took place from 18 to 22 May, attracting almost 166,000 visitors. This initiative, sponsored by the Italian Government, the Piedmont Region and the City of Turin, has become the largest Italian bookstore in the world. The fair, which this year has been called Oltre il confine, with almost 1,100 publishers and hundreds of professional operators in the book world, has also become a great cultural event with approximately 2,000 events organized over these five days, taking place both within its headquarters – the Lingotto Fiere exhibition center – and around different parts of the city.
