A factory of talent

The daily El Mundo publishes a report on the first ten years of the Scientific Park and what makes it a “paradise of talent and knowledge”.

The last ten years of the University of Salamanca have been very representative of the role that it plays with respect to the future. And the challenges that have been attained since the first brick of the Villamayor Scientific Park was laid, all this makes us prominent in the field of science, as indicated by the report published in the daily El Mundo.

The Villamayor Campus is considered an economic driver, with high employment numbers that already reach 850 workers, the double of what we first set to be our objective.

As the director of the Scientific Park, it is an honor for me to know that the University finds itself among the ten universities that most propel entrepreneurship and we are conscious of the role that a place like the Park has to play. Our work is to channel the talent of young people with programs and the support of other entities, but with a zero-cost collar, enabling us to expand the space and double employment.
