Today, the results of university ranking were made public by the CyD Foundation. It’s a thorough work which is begin conducted since four years, its aim is to present the data of the Spanish university system and determine which institutions are obtaining the best results, this is determined on the basis of a 33 indicator dashboard.

Classifications are organized on two levels: Areas of knowledge (17) and dimensions (5). The latter are Teaching and Learning, Research, Knowledge Transfer, International Focus and Contribution to Regional Development.

The University of Salamanca appears among the first five in Teaching and Learning, the factors which were considered were; the ratio of teachers to students, the percentage of the enrolled students who finish their studies, internships and the capacity to attract students from other regions.

The UNIVERSITY OF SALAMANCA exhibits four out of eight indicators of Transfer, the best performing result; in the other two middle sections were found and the data was completed with an indicator of the lowest performance. In 2016, the results of the same sections were five, three and zero, respectively. Having the best performing section makes us come out of the top ten.
