“First Lego League” and increasing scientific and technological vocations

Salamanca hosted the 1st Edition of the FIRST LEGO LEAGUE Tournament (FLL Salamanca), an international program that promotes scientific and technological vocations among 6 to 16 year olds.

 

FIRST LEGO League is an international program that promotes scientific and technological vocations among 10 to 16 year olds based on different learning experiences that are inspiring more than 250,000 young people in 88 countries around the world.

It aims to promote innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship through different learning experiences that can awaken their interest in science and technology. It is a tool aimed at the interest of young people in science and technology with the possibility of learning skills that they can develop in the future. Teamwork, communication, creativity, entrepreneurship … values that will open the doors to the future labour market.
