The University Collaborates with Salamanca’s City Council thanks to an agreement established at the Salamaq Agricultural Fair, bringing research and innovation to the primary sector of our province. A perfect opportunity to advance in agriculture and livestock which are fundamental pillars of Castile and Leon’s economy.
Yesterday I had the pleasure of participating in the presentation of the eight selected projects for the I Call of research projects focused on offering technological solutions to the primary sector. The province’s farming associations, professional organizations, cooperative and quality brands and also companies that participated in the project have gathered at this meeting which took place on Castro Enriquez’s experimental farm. At the presentation, I was accompanied by the first vice-president of the Council Chabela de la Torre, and the agriculture and livestock deputy, Román Hernández. These projects and their findings can be viewed on this website.
