Manifesto for science

On the 22nd of April, numerous activities will be held all over the world in order to call the attention of the society and politicians to the importance of science in the present world and some of the dangers that threaten it.

The Confederation of Scientific Societies of Spain (COSCE) and the Confederation of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE) have published a Manifesto for Science 2017, a document in which they advocate the importance of standing up for R&D against those who “ignore and underestimate knowledge”. The text, to which thirty Spanish research associations have subscribed, has been diffused to support the organization of the march for science.

Also, associations can also subscribe individual researchers. We hope to attain the greatest possible amount of companies, which will express the mobilization and participation of citizens in favor of science.

Support to the Manifesto.
