On April 22, various actions will be held worldwide to attract the attention of society and politicians regarding the importance of science in the world today and some of the dangers that lurk.

The Confederation of Scientific Societies of Spain (COSCE) and the Confederation of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE) have published the Manifesto for Science 2017 (Manifiesto por la Ciencia 2017), a document in which they state the need to commit to R & D compared to those who “ignore and despise knowledge.” The text, which has been supported by thirty associations of Spanish researchers, has been disseminated to support the organization of the march for science on 22 April.
In addition to associations, individual researchers can also join through. The idea is to get as many signatures as possible, which will be the expression of the mobilization and citizen participation in favor of science.

Join the Manifesto.
