Improvements for students and researchers who are part of the INNOVA program

Students and researchers that are part of the INNOVA program discuss their doubts at a fruitful meeting, which resulted in having many points in common.

The goal of the meeting that I held recently with students and researchers from the INNOVA program was to improve and boost research programs. A very productive meeting that will make research easier.

Some of the proposed issues were related to the lack of general knowledge as to what happens after finishing the 3+2 years of PhD and the necessity of better communication between the University, the research staff that is being trained in the different departments and the pre-PhD students (individual programs, contracts, etc.)

Additionally, we dealt with the grants for PhD students D.2011 for their attendance to congresses and publications. We also reviewed the eligibility criteria for these grants.

In conclusion, it was a positive meeting. Rapprochement of views will help us continue working in favor of research in the University of Salamanca.
