Students of the USAL participate in the National Congress of Research in Health Sciences

A group formed by 21 students of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Salamanca present scientific communications in the XIII edition of this Congress.

The University of Alcalá de Henares hosted last March 30th the XIII National Congress of the degree in Health Sciences in which eight Spanish universities participated, including Salamanca.

My congratulations to Professor María Fernanda Lorenzo Gómez, tutor of these brilliant students; they were also accompanied by Dr Ángel Gil Vicente. Participation in a national congress is always a challenge and a great experience, and this year they got the second place in two awards: Award for Best Scientific Communication and the IMIDEF Award (Joint Institute for Defense Research).

Students return with an incomparable experience of having participated in a congress where scientific research is the soul and the driving force. We give our acknowledgements to all the tutors and professors of all the participating universities. Congratulations!
