The first team of the school located in Guijuelo demonstrated in both phases its knowledge and capacity for disseminating science.

The second phase of the I Concurso de Divulgación y Cultura Científica (First Dissemination and Scientific Culture Contest) organized by ABSal (Biotechnology Association of Salamanca) was held last Friday, March 24, at the Auditorium of the Dioscorides Building (Faculty of Biology, University of Salamanca). The contest, part of “Biotech’s Got Talent”, welcomed almost 30 students from the Vía de la Plata and Sacred Heart Schools, who answered different questions about science, thus demonstrating their knowledge.

This contest has been the first edition of what is expected to be an annual event of the Biotechnology Association of Salamanca. “It is incredible that you students organize these activities, and I encourage you to continue doing so,” said Miguel Ángel Fuertes, a teacher of Sacred Heart College. “Too bad the empty seats, they don’t know what they’ve missed.
