The University of Salamanca, headquarters of the Ganymede National Congress

The Faculty of Philology held last week the V National Ganymede Congress, organized by the Association of Novel Researchers in Classical Philology.

The Ganymede Association has as its aim to gather all the pre-PhD students, whose works fit into the field of Classical Philology. The forums created at this congress, disseminate the different research Works done by its members in the field of Greek, Latin and Indo-European Linguistics and Greek Literature.

At the opening I was accompanied by Carlos Sánchez Pérez, president of the Ganymede Association; Mª Paz de Hoz, president of the Salamanca section of the Spanish Society of Classical Studies (SEEC), Anastasio Kanaris, vice dean of Students at the Faculty of Philology; Adelaida Andrés, director of the Department of Classical and Indo-European Philology and Sandra Cruz, president of the Organizing Committee of the V Ganymede Congress.

My congratulation to the organizers of this congress for their success in the results.
