“Nutrition in History”

The Faculty of Geography and History of the University of Salamanca opened a congress today on “Nutrition in history”, an interdisciplinary and international meeting of Young historians.

Throughout these days, different experts will tackle different topics at the round tables, relating nutrition to politics, religions, diseases and how it is used socially.  Also, various speakers will address very curious matters, such as the art of cooking of the Dominican Nuns from Valladolid, the Roman banquettes or causes of hunger in Spain in the 1940s, among other topics. A developed and interesting program that you can see in this link.
