The teacher Esther del Brío and the illustrator Pilar Vega have opened the exhibition in Santa Marta as part of the events that the city council devoted to International Women’s Day.

Last week I had the opportunity to join the Financial Economy teacher, Esther del Brío, at the opening of an exhibition based on her book “Kiss on the Forehead”. The event took place in Santa Marta de Tormes and was part of the events organized by the city council, on the occasion of commemorating International Women’s Day.

Her book is a visual story that intends to make readers conscious of gender violence and makes us reflect on ways out of these tragic situations that many women live through. The illustrations, as in the book, are of Pilar Vega, who with her minimalistic drawings succeeds at conveying feelings in a surprising way. I encourage you to visit this exhibition that will be on display until the 31st of March in the Tragaluz Hall in Santa Marta de Tormes.
