“Encounters on the Frontiers of Science”

Seven prestigious scientists will address the hottest topics in Physics on 22-23 February at USAL’S Faculty of Sciences in a meeting organized jointly by the Universities of Salamanca and Valladolid.

 

The search for dark matter, the detection of gravitational waves in space, understanding the exotic states of matter and their application for the design of new materials, nanoscience and the development of nanotechnology, nature and the applications of synchrotron radiation, the physics of biological systems and the conversion of efficient and sustainable energy will draw the attention of more than 150 young Physics students.

Encounters on the Frontiers of Science 2017’ has been organized jointly by the Universities of Salamanca and Valladolid with the support of the Duques de Soria Foundation.
