Architectural Innovation at the USAL Science Park

BIM área, an innovative architecture and engineering studio that develops its projects using the new technologies, such as the BIM (Building Information Modeling) Methodology and 3D printing, is coming to the University of Salamanca Science Park to promote its project and create collaboration ties with the University and with the companies, centres and research institutes located in the Park.

Attending the signing of the agreement incorporating BIM área to the Park were Juan Manuel Corchado, Vice-Chancellor of Research and Knowledge Transfer  and Director of the Science Park and the promotors of the project, Raúl del Valle Diez and  Jorge Martínez Guerra. Corchado underscored the innovative nature of this project and the opportunities it creates for collaborative research between BIM área and University research groups in this area of knowledge to foster knowledge transfer from research to business implementation.
