The Science Park form the University of Salamanca held an eveent last week with children form the Villamayor Children´s City Club who could carry out plant tests and laboratory activities. A total of 27 children visited the Hispanic-Portuguese Institute for Agricultural Research and its Experimental Greenhouse, where they carried out plant tests and learned in a playful way about molecular genetics and plant biology. It makes me happy to see the little ones express their interest for research, ask questions and display natural curiosity.
This type of fun and motivating initiatives is fundamental for awakening the passion for research in the little ones. For that reason, in the Science Park we are always ready to support any activity that encourages scientific activity and the transfer of knowledge.
