The Cancer Research Center in Salamanca, from the University of Salamanca, has bought a Laser Microdissection Microscope (LMD) incorporated in the Service of Comparative Molecular Pathologies. This is good news for cancer research. Thanks to this new tool we will find out more information on cancer cells, going deeper into the research. I also have to highlight that, this tool will come very useful to the scientific community and the clinical groups that will request it.

At the presentation of the new microscope I was accompanied by Eugenio Santos, Director of the Center for Cancer Research; Alberto Orfao, Director of General Service for Cytometry (CIC), and Carmen Garcia, person in charge of the Service of Comparative Molecular Pathologies Center.
