This program will last seven years (2014-2020) aimed to support the cultural and creative sector which expects a budget of 1.460.000 million euros.
The Creative Europe Program aims to provide support to the cultural and creative sector in order to strengthen cultural diversity and promote the movement of European culture and creativity and reinforce competitiveness in the cultural and creative sectors.
It consists of:
·Media Sub-program focused on the distribution and development of audiovisual projects.
·Culture Sub-program focused on the promotion of the cultural sector, Within the Creative Europe Program, the European Investment Fund and the CERSA, an entity which is affiliated to the Ministry of Industry and whose objective is to help SME´s and those who are self-employed to access financing, have signed an agreement which will mobilize funding worth 150 million euros, 1000 SMEs from the cultural and creative sector will benefit from this loan (including cinema, theatre, music, video game production, performances and editing) in the next two years.
