The United Nations Member States passed resolution recognizing that the greatest challenge in the world today is the eradication of poverty and an affirmation that without it there can be no sustainable development.
The USAL Ph.D. program in the Rule of Law and Global Governance held a study day entitled “Agenda 2030 and the objectives of sustainable development“, which addressed various issues on the United Nations 2030 agenda United in two round tables.
The conference, that I had the honor to present, held a roundtable in which University´s lecturers spoke out, Victoria Muriel, José Ignacio Sánchez and Carlos Mataix. It was followed by another roundtable in which the objectives of sustainable development were discussed. Among those that took part, were professor of the University and director of the conference, Fernando Rodriguez as well as lecturers, Estefanía Caamaño and David Pereira from the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
