The I Conference on Scientific Culture allowed us to reflect on the cooperation between the public and private sectors in R & D.
The I Scientific Culture Days are part of the project “Scientific culture, perception and attitudes towards science and innovation in the Spanish business sector”, and were held in the R&D + i Building of the University of Salamanca. The meeting became a space for learning and reflection on the scientific, technological and innovative culture in the Spanish business sector. It also allowed us to discuss public-private cooperation in R & D & I. Specifically, we presented the first results of the survey on scientific culture in the business sector. We also attended a workshop on technological surveillance and discussed the role of scientific knowledge in the company, a very interesting roundtable.
At the Conference presentation I was accompanied by Jesús Rey Rocha, director of the research project of the CSIC, which was being presented. As well as Santiago López, researcher of the eCyT Institute of the University of Salamanca.
