The Spanish Confederation of Police (CEP) in collaboration with the Foundation for Police Research and Security (FINVESPOL) and the Spanish Criminology and Forensic Science Society (SECCIF) have organized a conference on the Internet and social networks.

Legal bodies and Security Forces face increasing challenges related to new forms of crime. Network fraud, cyber-attacks, child pornography, piracy or scams force the police to take the necessary measures and, as far as possible, prevent such crimes from occurring. Security forces must be equipped with the necessary tools to obtain evidence and prosecute offenders to finally bring them before the court. For this reason, such meetings are crucial.
