The Doctoral Studies Working Group is promoting the “Three Minute Thesis” initiative

Participants will form part of a competition among many universities.

The Doctoral Studies Working Group (DSWG) of the Coimbra Group at the University of Salamanca is promoting the Three Minute Thesis initiative (3MT) developed by the University of Queensland in Australia, aimed at visualizing PhD theses being carried out at the universities pertaining to the initiative. The Universities of the Coimbra Group (CG) have been authorized to participate. Those doctoral students who wish to compete must give a three-minute presentation summarizing their work in a way comprehensible to the general public, with the aid of only one slide to support them.
