Geology has to be presented to the general public in an attractive and entertaining way

Researcher Fernando Álvarez Lobato inaugurates the “Science with Coffee” sessions of the University of Salamanca.

Fernando Álvarez Lobato, a researcher in the area of Internal Geodynamics at the University of Salamanca, today gave a lecture on “Discovering the Secrets of the Earth’s Interior”, thus formally opening the Science with Coffee sessions, which over the coming months will present  different aspects of science to the general public. “Our intention here is to bring Geology closer to the general public, because it has always been the ‘forgotten’ science, and this has to be done in an attractive and entertaining way, the lecturer stated.
