The Spanish Health Management Society (SEDISA) held the IX National Conference in Salamanca, it discussed quality, efficiency and innovation in healthcare, and the future of health services.
Last week I had the honor to participate in the IX National Conference of SEDISA in Salamanca. Our panel discussion was titled “The Circuit, from Quality to Efficiency and from Efficiency to Quality”, a very interesting discussion moderated by Francisco Javier Garcia Criado, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine. Apart from presenting very interesting projects, lines of financing in innovation and research were also discussed. In this colloquium I spoke on “Environmental Intelligence: a mature technology to improve hospital management.” I have already done some blogposts on this subject.
At the panel I was accompanied by Francisco S. Lozano Sánchez (Professor of Vascular Surgery), Isidro Sánchez García (Senior Staff Researcher CSIC) and Paloma Casado Durández (General Deputy Director of Quality and Cohesion).
