Within the framework for the Doctorate in Prehistory and Sciences of the Antiquity at the University of Salamanca, Rodrigo Portero is studying the Upper Paleolithic diet.

Rodrigo Portero Hernandez is studying what is referred to as “paleoeconomics” or the economy of the prehistoric populations which lived during the Upper Paleolithic era. The study of prehistoric fauna, or archaeofauna, is key to drawing conclusions about a period that dates back between 30,000 and 12,000 years and was decisive for humanity.
