This project consists of an intelligent and distributed system that allows us to improve the quality of life of individuals who require some kind of assistance by monitoring their vital signs.
In order to obtain information, the most relevant requirement is for the patient to be accessible, in terms of simplicity and cost, from any geographic point for the final user.
- One of the novelties of this project is that it allows monitoring the patient constantly by using a smartphone, providing connectivity to the Internet in a simple way.
- Data will be sent in real time by using low latency protocols.
- The control center where information is processed will be able to simultaneously process information for hundreds of users.
- The system’s ease of use and set up are vitally important both for the user and medical institutions, which will evaluate the final system.
